While visiting the Jaipur, also known as the pink city in India, I came across some camels resting by the roadside and I captured a few photos using my camera. The patterns on the cloth covering the hump of the main camel attracted me, and the bright red is amplified with the use of cadmium red in my painting. I enjoyed painting the brown animal texture of the camel skin.
In the background, a few camels can be seen chewing some plants and the road and houses formed a misty-looking backdrop. I enjoyed visiting this city as I also witnessed some elephants in Amber Fort, and it was a fruitful trip coming to this iconic city of India.
