Walking around Amsterdam on a cool sunny afternoon gave me the opportunity to discover the beauty of its houses and the streetscape that was decorated with cyclists and pedestrians. Here, the bridge and the bicycles parked along the metal railings formed an intricate foreground as opposed to the colorful backdrop formed by the houses and trees.
The colors in the background were carefully planned to attract attention. I applied the red-orange and green complementary colors to the buildings and trees in the middle. The vibrant colors bring out the atmosphere of the place, and the windows, people and shops all contribute to an eclectic mix of activity in the city.
