The lights coming from the Supertree Grove in Gardens by the Bay dazzles the viewer against the backdrop of an evening sky. I re-created the textures of the plants growing on the Supertree by using the dry-brush technique which is perfect for creating the plant textures. This different greens amidst the pink structures that run all the way down along the tree create a captivating visual effect for the viewer.
I used the watercolor pencils to create the branches at the top of each Supertree, and pink, purple and red colors were used so that the branches appear rich in colors. The bridge was done using mainly purple tones and watercolor pencils were used to help in creating the lines. I was happy with the overall effect that aptly described the scene at Gardens by the Bay.
