Taken from a well-known intersection in Taipei, Ximending, this work explores the visual intensity and psychological compression of the contemporary Asian city. Illuminated billboards and commercial signage dominate the urban landscape, while crowds move anonymously beneath layers of light, reflection and architectural density.
Through layered imagery and disrupted passages, the work reflects on urban overstimulation, collective movement and the fragmented atmosphere of modern city life.
